Use your Sex Toys with Care

Hi all, I just wanted to talk a little bit about sex toy safety. Many dildos and other sex toys are made with a substance called silicone. It is a very durable substance that can last virtually forever. In this article I would like to discuss 3 measures to take to ensure the safety of all of your favorite adult toys including, dildos, butt plugs, vibrating dildos, extenders, puss molds, virtual feet, etc…

1. Make sure to wash your toys when you are finished with them. I know it’s a lot easier to just sit back and “chill” after you are finished with your sex toys. Sex toys, however, have to strange ability to get really funky if they are left out unwashed. Molds and other bacteria can quickly accumulate quickly if proper measures are not taken. A good routine when you are finished is to take the batteries out( if applicable) and wash thoroughly with soap and water or rinse and through it in the dishwasher ( if dishwasher safe). Remember to keep them away from the wine glasses (just kidding).
2. Store your toys separately in sealable plastic bags. Many of the material s used in dildos, vibrators, and other sex toys, although safe and durable; act funny when they come in contact with each other. Sometimes they will get softer, fall apart, or deform on you. For best practices, you should always store your sex toys separately in airtight sealable plastic bags. Make sure your sex toys are dry before putting them in. This will make your sex toys last much longer.
3. Always use a water based lubricant with your silicone toys. For the same reason as mentioned above, oil based lubricants, unless specified on the p[ackage should not be used for your sextoys because of the reaction it can have on them. Water based lubricants have a neutral effect on sex toys and will allow them to last.
